Prosthetic Eye

Personalized mobile prostheses are made of colored with Methyl Methacrylate and work homogenously with their own material. Dyes like gouache is never used. The color of prosthetic eye doesn’t affected by sea water and sunlight, external influences or fading. The purpose of the prosthetic eye is the aesthetic image and the person's well-being. In addition, it is very important that the prosthesis used does not suffer from reactions such as discomfort, stinging and burring. Personal doctor should be decide the prosthesis application time after enucleation and evisceration surgery. Average recovery time and readiness for prosthesis after surgery is between 30 and 45 days. Prostheses are applied after the sutures are removed and the healing is completed. Operations proceed with the following steps: Encoloring is made. Iris size, white color, vessel density is determined. After these, nest is measured and prosthesis is applied to person. All of these operations take 2 days averagely.
